Inside the Powerslayer is a small computer that continuously monitors and controls the charging process.
Prevent Overcharging
While having your device’s battery maxed out at 100% is comforting, the batteries themselves aren’t all that happy about it. Continued trickle charging after your battery is fully charged not only wastes energy, it degrades the battery chemistry.
Powerslayer turns off charging when the battery reaches 100% and lets it rest before automatically turning back on to top it off, keeping it happy and ready to go at the same time.
App Connectivity
Powerslayer is equipped with Bluetooth so it can communicate with mobile phones and tablets. A free iOS companion app running on your iPhone or iPad lets you view and control the charging process. You’ll get an alert if you ever leave your Powerslayer behind in an unfamiliar place. Plus it will remind you to recharge if your battery is getting low.
Redundant Safety
Powerslayer is one of the only chargers with built-in surge protection to keep your mobile devices safe from harmful spikes and bad power. On top of that it has two additional levels of fuse protection for maximal safety.
